jack russel dog?

hello, my name is jake and i would like to know.... is a jack russel a good hunting dog for fox, rabbit ect..? and if so how would i train it

What do you want it to do? Jack Russell's terriers are great dogs but to train for hunting is tough because they are quite hard headed. Understand, the Jack Russell hunts foxes underground. You find a den and cut him loose. The dog has to be small enough to get underground. If not it can't bolt or dispatch the fox. Terrierman.com can give you the particuliars. JRT's can flush all the bunnies you want to shoot. Teach it to sit EVERYTIME YOU GIVE THE COMMAND and some will be in gunrange.
