Default question about teething

Why do they say to stop all retrieving practice when the puppy is loosing his puppy teeth and getting his adult teeth. is it because it causes pain or what?

Thanks

Yes it does. It could lead to a habit of dropping bumbers, which you'll have to fix.

Right, while they are teething no bumpers just drills.

You can use paint rollers or old socks tied up in an old sock for retrieving during teething.
