Default Some stories form the pups adventures so far.

Well they are about 19 weeks old as of the 7th of this monthand all have been finding deer. Most of the opportunities have been realativley easy but some have been outright finds. Here are a few pictures.

There were only 12 drops of blood over 100 yards. Alphie(16 weeks old at this time)actually got off track but winded the deer from about 60-70 yards away and took the handler to the deer.

Archer at 16 weeks old and a buck he found.

This is max and a doe he found at age 12 weeks. This deer did not bleed except for one drop and went about 45 yards and max took the handler right to the deer.

This is Dixie and a doe she found. Again no blood that the hunter could find and the hunter was not sure as to the exact location were this deer entered the woods. Dixie quickly picked up the trail and led them tothe deer.

Very Cool. We can't use dogs here in WA (even for following a blood trail).[:@]

Doc E, sorry to hear that you can not use a tracking dog. It is sad that some states just do not see the benifits to allowing blood tracking dogs. Maybe one day it will change. United Blood trackers is willing to help anyone who wants to spear head tring to change the law in any state that does not allow tracking dogs at this time.

Red Hawk, ya they are turing out to be really good dogs. Many of them still have 2 months of potential tracking, so I exspect to hear many more stories with more and more of them becoming true finds. By this time next year we should know for sure what type of dogs we turned out of this last breeding. I really look forward to hearing from everyone. If the dogs turn out as well as I think, they will then we will breed the same pair again.
