Gosh, isn't Lean Mac one of those "big named long worded cert.this and that dogs"?[]
And 10 litters? How old is your dog?
It's actually pretty easy to figure the odds of coat color............but it takes one of those "hi-falutin" Coat Color DNA Tests to do so.[8D]
Or it's that your female is over 8 years old and is having some genetic breakdown.

Whats up jirk i see your still on here being a know it all. you are the second person from the state of wa. the other is cascaded that no one really cares for talking too so take a hint and try not to be like you are.
i never said that it was anything wrong with owning a high papered dog i have several [hunt test backgrond blood lines] but that for good hunting dogs its hard to beat just straight hunting backgrounds where all they have done is hunted no bells and whistles or ribbons and trophys or jirks like you around ,see what im saying,,,and whos to say how old is to old for a lab to have litters as long as she takes care of them and there healthy pups ,so you need to stop trying to be super dog man and work on your people skills,,,,please tell me the great state of wa ,has better representives than you ..maybe your the one haveing a genetic breakdown....ever thought about that..
I am from Washington, personally I think the decision to breed your dog is a personal one. You, as the owner are the only one that can decide what the condition of your"female" is and if she is healthy enough to breed.Albeit, I do think 10 litters is a lot of litters for any dog to have; I will only breed a dog about 4 times at the max but I hunt my dogs hard during thier lives too. Again, it comes down to what you as the owner are doing with your dog and if you believe the dog is healthy and able to produce what you desire.
I don't think it is a genetic break down, it may just be luck of the draw. Sometimes you produce a recessive gene, if this didn't happen all of our Labs wouldbe black.
Now, take a deep breath...it's too easy to get all offended when there is no need. When ever people buy dogs from me I tell them to not be color blind, go for health, temperment, ablility and breeding. If you choose a line with all those attributes you can't go wrong.
ps. one of the best solid quiet hunters I know is a (white) yellow lab.
