Default ever hear of a product called Biospot

i seen an advertisment on tv for this product and was hoping someone might have used it and could give me a report on it. it is used the same as Frontline to control fleas and ticks. is it any good? the price of Frontline is getting a little expensive and am looking for a alternative that is not as expensive. any help will be appreciated.

I bought biospot a couple of times...for my pup's it didn't work very well...they still had enough fleas on them to make the scratch often..I don't know about your area but down here the price has come down a little..I have small dogs so mine now only cost me $40 compared to what it used to cost...For me since it works so good I will just keep paying that little bit of high cost for the comfort it give's my two pup's...Plus it is keeping the fleas off my new pups too.

I've been buying BioSpot for years now from Drs Foster and Smith. Not only is it affordable, but I've found it to be VERY effective against fleas and ticks. I run 2 Brits and they hunt hard and I always have at least one of them with me. That means they're in the woods all the time but the BioSpot keeps the ticks away. Very good product and I highly recommendit.

Did you mean the neck drops or the spray ? My vet sells a 6 oz(?)bottle of the Frontline spray for $28 , and it's a little less online . The spray has to be applied monthly , but it does seem to work well enough .

I only use Biospot on my lab. The only time I've found any ticks on her was when I was late treating her and went into the woods with her. I found 3-4 ticks on her and 20+ on me. I haven't had a problem with fleas on her either. An added bonus is that it repels mosquitos, so I can get away with not giving her heart worm pills every month. She spends most of her time inside with us, so she isn't exposed as much as a dog that spends %90+ of it's time outside.

I have heard of Biospot causing death in some pets. Biospot works through the nervous system of the dog while Fronline works through the skin. I'm not a vet and this is just my understanding so if I'm not exactly correct, I apologize. I was looking for an alternative to Frontline for my Brit, but after doing some internet digging, I found out these issues. I've resolved to paying a little more for my dog.
