Default Chuckar hunting

I just moved to chucker hunting paradise, and was looking for some good resourses/books/ideas on getting my new pup trained for chucker hunting. Any suggestions would be great!

What type of puppy do you have? Reason I'm asking is because flusher & pointers tend to train slightly different. Books are going to place emphasison differing aspects, ie. for retriever on retreiving and pointer on steadying point.

Some good questions for you trouthunter. I am impatiently waiting to hear your answers.
At old times, a man asked another''
-How long does it take to walk to the other village?''
-''Walk''
-''What do you mean, walk? I asked you how long does it take for me to walk to the other village?''
-''Well walk. I have to see what you mean by ''walk'' before I can tell you HOW LONG it will take.

I've moved to Oxbow, Oregon. It's a small town at the headwaters of Hell Canyon. Very steep country.

The pup is a labrador/deer hound mix. Odd mix, I know, but it was one of those come home and "look honey, we got a puppy" things.

More than likely be looking for flush training over pointing.
