I have a buddy in Greenville South Carolina, that has an excellent line of yellows, might be father than 100 miles, but is worth the drive, I put a personal dog in my kennel, and drove 300, well worth the trip. pm me if you want Thanks Jonesy

Just one word of advice. I purchased several pups in the Fredricksburg Virginia area. If you go look at the pups and they dont look fat and healthy dont buy. I let a long waiting period and my wife interfere with my better judgement. Both breeders I visited to buy my pups are very well known it that area. Pups were thin and I should of left them there but due to my wifewe took them home. I could not beleive that these kennels had these large websites and the puppies were so poor in condition. If you take the time and watch their puppy pages you will surely know they are nothing more than puppy mills.

How about letting me know who you end up buying from. What are your intensions with the dog? to hunt or just a companion?

When I lived in northern VA, I had a friend who bred labs. He hunted them and had some field trial champions. I haven't kept in touch with him (its been over 10 years), but I do know he was affiliated with Silverbrook Kennels. They have a nice web site if you want to do a search for them.
