Default YIKES ! Yella dog turns Chocolate !

Winged a Mallard drake a couple days ago. The duck swam to a VERY muddy/mucky part of our pond. Casey got to the duck, and it dived -- Casey dived --- a total of three times before he came up with the bird. Casey had cleaned himself off pretty well by the time I thought about taking these pics -- when he came out of the water, he looked like he was dripping with Chocolate Fudge

I've seen that action before, only different type of chocolate. My sister in law's yellow lab found a pile of fresh moose droppings last fall. Quite a feast for the eyes and nose.

Ya know Doc, I don't think there is any thing better in lifethan a muddy dog, pile a mallards, and your wife at the door when you get home, asking how the day was. It's cool looking into the dogs eyes, and feeling the same thing he's feeling, yes brother, Life is good!! Thanks Jonesy

Tailcrackin,

Actually, my wife doesn't wait at home -- she and I hunt together (virtually all the time).
