Default Wow a day in the park opens your eyes

Today I took Mongo down to a local dog park that is open to the puplic for the first time. All I have to say is he opened my eyes to how much he has learned. He did retreive all right but he kept on dropping the dummy before getting out of the water and to me. SoI was not to happy with that. The one thing I did do some training with is that when another dog lefta toy in the water I would have Mongo go getit even though he did not see it land in the water. I thought he did ok, but I had a lot of people complement me about him because he fallowed directions to the toy very well they thought.

I am not sure if I am being to hard on Mongo or I know he is trained but not full hunt class yet. I did have a local goose and duck hunter in the area of the park invite me to look into hunting with them. He thought with Mongo and with duck and waider I brought I had to be a hunter.

BTW I did freek out a few people with my dummy duck. A few people thought it was a real duck at first till they got close to it. I did think that was kind of funny.
