Default Rattlesnake Vaccines available

I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this so I'll post an FYI.

Red Rock Biologics has a relatively new productthat I think is well worth the small cost.

Red Rock Rattlesnake Vaccines

Considering that any Rattlesnake bite on our dog is a Veterinary emergency and that even if the dog survives it can be perminantly injured I believe this is important.

The first year your dog is vaccinated, she should receive two doses of the vaccine spaced one month apart.
The best protection is within six months of the vaccination.

The vaccination stimulates your dog's own immunity against the venom which is a complex mixture of toxins.

This vaccine helps your dog resulting in immunity that is faster acting than the Highly Expensive Antivenin.
Your dogs'bodies response to the venom starts neutralizingitimmediatly.
Thismeans the dog experiences less pain, recovers faster and has a reduced risk of permanent damage.

I know of one person that has immunized his dogs. He lives in the extreme snake countryof the south west.
One of his dogs has actually been bitten TWICE after vaccination. The only thing he had to do for the dog was administer antibiotics to repel any secondary infection.

It's cheap too!!

My Labs are worth it. Are yours?

Ask your vet.
