Default ? about a collie

hello everyone you probaly do not no who I am because a do no usually post on the sporting dogs formbut i was wandering if collys could do anything but heard?

Any comments please Ozark

Believe it or not, when I was younger I grouse hunted over a collie once. It would flush, but not retrieve. Although personally I think you have less chance of getting the dog to be a hunter simply because of the breed. Also many of the farm collies I have been around were gun shy most the time. I guess you have to try them to know for sure. Good luck.
