Default anyone hunt morells in ?

Fla. if you do ; where do you look,swamp , hammocks?[]
I have never saw any where I hunt.would love to try it,just don't know where to look.

any help would be great[&:]

You peaked my interest on this. I'm a morel nut, but live in Ohio...I did some searching and morels do grow in the panhandle of Fl, but they're rare.

I've been working in the woods of NW Fl for about 32 years and I don't recall seeing any morrells. Havn't really been looking for them, but will see if I run up on them in the next couple of weeks. Is that picture a good representation of them or are there other types?

timbercruiser : from what I can read and see that is about right,except you don't find them in a group like that many times. from reading you find one or two at a time.?????????????
