Anybody have any suggestions on what and when to plant in the south. I live in West Alabama. I've planted mixed blends in the past, but I'd like to plant a few plots in different things.
Some of my hunting property is river bottoms and usually floods 1 or 2 times a season. Therefore some of my plots may be underwater for a day or two. Anyone had this happen to them if so what were the results.

cutter i have had my best luck when using the county co-op or feed and seed people they know the who what why and when, best of luck, dont forget about a summer feeding plot.....
