After 3 years of trying to get this buck with the bow and catching his pic on trail cams and never seeing him again during gun season he finally made the mistake of stepping out during the peak of this years rut to follow 2 does and i finally was able to harvest him. his teeth were just about gone and by the looks of him his rack size was starting to suffer the results of his age. i wish i was able to take him last year but none the less its been a challenge and i just wanted to share the experience.

i have my eye on another one at the farm that is alot taller and he is just as elusive but im making it even harder on myself to bag him since im hunting him with the bow. ive got bored gun hunting so i figured what could be better then to kill a monster at the end of gun season with a bow
