Default North Florida Hunting

Anyone hunting in the northern panhandle, i.e. Leon, Gadsen, Liberty, Wakulla, county areas? How is the hunting in these areas this year? The reason I ask is b/c I will be planning to hunt somewhere in these areas the week of christmas, in hopes of shooting some deer. It has been years since I have hunted in these areas and just wanted to get some feedback, as to which WMA's were really good to hunt in.

Thanks,
opfor

There are some good wmas all over that area and it produces the biggest bucks from around the state consistently. Check the fl. fish and wildlife websight for rules and wmas open. The line between the central and nw zone is in that area so be sure to check season dates as they are different in the 2 regions.
