After banging around in the thicket trying to find a tree to climb & spooking two does in the process I was sure the hunt was over before it started. Finally got in the tree and sat for about 5 minutes. Let out a couple bleats with the ole Primos can, and in came a nice 8-pointer straight away. About a 50 yard shot and down he went. What a great day!! Here he is:

thats a fine buck.nice spread. Congrats.I took this one in Fla. on opening day of our B/P season.I used some doe pee a young boy gave me.I put it on my boots and he trailed me about 150 yards right to my tree.I shot him stright down.

BTY mine is a Fla. scrub buck with a 13 1/2" spread , thats pretty good for us.
