I've got the "I've been winded blues"
So it's about 9:30 sunday morning and I'm up in the stand watching the leaves fall all around me. I see a flash of movement off about 75 yards then another. I slowly bring up the ole muzzleloader and peer through the scope. There's a doe in my crosshairs but pretty small and I can see something else coming up behind her so...I swing over to see one, two, three, four points on one side and think "thats a taker" so I rock the hammer back and it makes the normal clicking sound.... Only to hear whoosh down below my stand and see the same doe that I saw earlier running back towards the buck tail a flappin the whole way. When she reached him he blew and they were gone... I guess he was chasing her into the zone and while I was counting and focusing on him she mosied on over towards me. Anyone else got the blues?
