Default Any SW AR hunters around here?

Hey, any of you guys from around Hope, AR?? Just trying to find some fellow hunters from around the area.

Down the road in Texarkana I hunt out in East Ogden on the River.

I am from Fouke but living in NW AR now.

I grew up hunting around Fulton and Old Washington, great memories....lotsa deer.

Hot springs but from camden and still hunt the white oak lake area.

I used to work at the airport in el dorado for a small repair shop. my wife worked in el dorado for about 11 years. couldnt take the sewer pit of camden arkansas anymore! and didnt want to live in el dorado.
love hot springs but jobs that pay are in little rock. gotta have money!

Hey, thanks for the welcome! Nope, no pawn business here.

I'm not really happy living here, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm looking forward to this weekend and hope to hear everyone's success stories next week.

Know what you mean. my familys been in that area since before there were trails heck on one side before a white face ever appeared there.

I love hunting the area and have many friends but i can't raise my kids in the area. The schools are the worst . i think they should do a documentary on how poor they really are. Just move to the lake hamiliton school district and you'll quickly see how a great school district is.
I feel your pain rapidcash but sometimes you just gotta do what my family did.........MOVE!

I hear ya! Moving is not in the cards right now....maybe in a couple of years. We plan on relocating to north AR.

I live in Conway right now, but do all of my hunting/trapping in Bee Branch.
I have lived, in the past, in Damascus, Guy, Bee Branch, Highland, and Hardy, and moved here a year ago, because of my dad's job.
We may be moving soon, to Hot Springs...are there good hunting spots there??
