Default 50+ year old deer picture

My wife found this while looking through some old family photos. The girl is her mother, and the boy is her uncle. Unfortunately my mother-in-law doesn't remember the picture or any news of the deer.

We're pretty sure they were killed here in Frederick Co Va. She has lived around this area all her life. What amazes me is the brow tines of the one that she is holding. Her left hand is holding the G2, not the brow tine. It must be 12-14" long. I wish I could find the horns, and the story behind them.

Those are some good looking deer, especially back in that time era when deer were a lot more sparse. I will post them in this post to make it easier for everyone to see.

I wish they did. I can't even get a clue as to what, where, why or how. Some of my wife's family was in, when they got looking through old pictures and ran across this one. She snatched it up to show me. Both of her grandparents are dead, and unfortunately I guess the story is too.
