Well let me be the first to welcome you to the board shorehunter99...

Bow season is shapping up pretty well with me.. no I havent taken anythign yet but have seen alot of deer. Myself and Vasavage just got back from the quota hunt at Hog Island WMA down your way... let me say it was awsome I saw over 30 deer in two days of hunting... the only ones to get within decent bow range were smaller bucks and on there you only allowed to shoot 16" and above.. I did have a huge 8 walk out last night at 45 yards but he went toward another corn patch.. BUt it was awsom I took some pics I will post them soon...

I am getting ready to go out the door now to do some hunting around the King George area this evening...

Once again welcome to the board..

Justin, welcome to HuntingNet! Believe me, this is the best hunting forums in the world. Stick around and you'll have a great time.

So far the season's not gone terribly well for me. I'm a gun hunter, so I'm still looking forward to the upcoming turkey and deer seasons. I've been hunting squirrel on the weekends, but I'm not seeing much out there (I'm in NoVA). But I have managed to get a lot of scouting done at my public and private spots. Patience and hard work is key, so I'll keep at it and hope things take a turn for the better soon. Fall is just getting started!

See you around the forum!
