Default RE: Areas in Tennesse?

Redhawk,
A couple questions. What kind of work do you do? This can affect where you plan to settle in. The one area I can think of is the Land between the Lakes. The wildlife in this area has high numbers, and is quite varied. Mostly rural, but close enough to larger cities so you aren't isolated. (In fact, in some of the areas a cell plone won't pick up a tower.) But if you have a skill, you need to start making inquiries concerning employment. Are you near retirement age? You might need to check out northern Miss. If you buy land, the Homestead exemption helps on land taxes, but car tags can eat you up. Try to get brochers (sp.) from either state on facilities in various areas.
Good luck in your search.

Russ

Well because of i have alot of security experience (up to an year and half so) I was hoping to find work for security to start me off. I am actually interested in getting into law enforcment even if its a whole different state (hence Tennesse). I'm far for retirement because i'm only 26. I have had a few friends tell me that Eastern Tn is the best location in terms of living as well as hunting. The only catch on the hunting part is none are hunters who are telling me.
