Default Ailen SC Area

I live in Western NC and I have access to hunt about 180 acres of land on hwy 302 between Aiken & N Augusta. I was just wondering what the deer population was like in this area. I have been there and scouted around a little, saw quite a bit of sign, and actually hunted the first 2 opening days last year. Did not see the first deer. Thought it was maybe due to it being so hot this time of year. Give me some pointers on hunting this area. I am considering trying it again, am I wasting my time?

You can' t waste time deer hunting in SC anywhere IMO! Stick with it if there is that much sign. Good luck!
