RE: Two questions about hunting in Georgia
Lincoln county is not considered Northeast Ga. It is nearly down amongst the flatlanders. Beyond that, you have unlimited doe days while you are here with a limit of 10 does and two bucks. One of the bucks must be four points or better on one side unless Lincoln county has a different restriction. If you will be hunting private property, be sure to have a letter from the property owner stating you have permission to hunt there (if it is posted) If the property is not posted, verbal permission is adequate. The reason I made the distinction about Lincoln not being considered Northeast Ga. is, NE GA. is mostly mountainous, according to my mapping program the area surrounding Lincolnton and Lincoln county is flat as a fritter with the elevation being around 500 ft. AMSL Good luck and have fun.
