Anyone know about deer hunting in Lincoln county, GA?

a buddy has invited me to go to UGA' s homecoming in Athens in 2 weeks and we' ll stay with his grandparents on their farm and i figured since it will be gun season in GA by then i may just try my luck. is it worth my time and are their any hints to help me tag a northeast GA deer?

Try to find some whiteoaks that have acorns on them. Also tell me what kind of terrain land has. I live 30 min from athens and have killed many bucks around there. Let me know about land type and can give more hints, if he has clear cuts get your knife ready
