Default 96 gmc 4x4 need question answered

4 wheel drive went out as I was driving down the road. light on pannel started blinking and 4 wheel disengauged. Does anyone know what I need to look at?

LOL, a F*rd, yeah right!!!!!

Is this the 1/2 ton? 4L60E trans? There is a TSB out on the 4WD switch for the new GMs. Easy to fix yourself.

True, check to see that you still have suction in your vacuum hose that leads to your front diff. I should have mentioned that 1st.
