Elk Hunting the Wichita Mountains, tips etc. wanted
I drew a Bull tag for the Wichita Mountains this year. Couple of weeks away, and getting very excited!
One thing I'm concerned about is packing a bull out. I've been told not to worry about quartering out an elk because there are plenty of helpers. I'm thinking I will need to quarter one out.
Would love to hear from others that have been on this hunt with tips, etc. Once in a lifetime hunt here, and I want to be ready as much as possible.
