We havn' t had any rain and I knew it was going to rain yesterday so I planted two food plots yesterday, wheat, clover, alphafa mix. Now, it' s probably all washed away. Oh well, those plots were for this winter anyway.

I' m ready to hunt.

Beej, Giles county is a long way from Alaska, what' s the deal.
I wish I had some land to hunt in giles county, that' s a great place for deer. I' m hunting marshall county and it' s not bad but nothing like giles.

Less than 24 hours and we' ll be hunting. There' s a good chance for thunderstorms. I can handle rain but don' t give a hoot for lightning. I' m too big a target.
Yesterday morning I got in my treehouse stand that' s on the corner of my yard and a power line. I was just watching the power line to see what was crossing and where. Darned if I didn' t see 3 bucks, one of them a wallhanger. That' s the first bucks I' ve seen this year on my place and thats where I will be saturday morning. There were eating acorns on the edge of the power line.
Good luck to everyone this weekend and be safe. Wear your safety belts and bring out a big one.
