http://www.wildflorida.org/

that should help ya out.........it is the best site..........

http://www.fl-dof.com/state_forests/Withlacoochee.htm

you might want to check to see if the places you like are quota hunts or not.......i live south of orlando, there are a few quota areas and then there are a few that aren' t, like bullcreek, 3 lakes.......green swamp is a good one too, but i dont know if it' s quoata or not..too far for me to drive but i have friends that hunt it.........being that far north , i' d be careful of not shooting a hybrid, lol.......go south of Gainsville for true Osceolas........
......let me ask around at work and i' l let you know.........

I really don' t know where the Withlacooce forest is.most of the withlacooee is south of me?????????

to make sure , draw a line from the mouth of the Suwannee River across to Gainesville and on across the state.thay way you want be getting into hybreds.
the lower swannee refuge has a good amount of birds.if you go there expect to walk several miles in a morning.all the side roads are closed.just main road from north to south is open.green swamp is also a good place to take one.
