I've never personally hunted it but have a really good friend who has several times. It's definitely some steep terrain and loaded with bear, from what he tells me. I would suggest buying a make of all the WMA areas in North Georgia and studying it well. Like any public land around here be sure to walk far off main roads and trails. He says they usually hike 1 1/2 miles to their hunting spot and have taken some nice bucks back there. Hope this helps! Good luck and safe hunting!!
