Default great day saturday

Hunted on sat. It was a great day. Cold with snow on the ground. No dogs really running. got in the woods about 8 am. Hunting later in the morning as not seeing anything at the crack of dawn. Climb in stand, pull up shot gun, and start loading it. Look over and there is a button buck walking right to me. Got some nice pics. An hour later have 8 large does come by. It's doe day down there all season. Took a nice fat one for the freezer. No sooner than I shoot, work calls. I am on phone walking someone through an issue when 2 three more deer trot by. I watch them. All small does. I start to drag deer out. See even more deer. None of them seemed to even mind me walking around. In total, saw 13 deer. A friend of mine sat on same stand at 2 PM. He saw 8 more deer. the whole time I was walking to the stand I was thinking I am not going to see a thing and I should have stayed in bed. It just goes to show, you cant shoot them if your not in the woods.
