Default Big va buck down!!!!!

I took him with the ML the morning of November 8th at 7am on property in Central Virginia. He's a perfectly symetrical 10pt with a 1.5" kicker at the base of his left antler. He has ALOT of mass. He weighed approximately 200 lbs, 20.5" inside spread. Taxidermist said he's gonna go between 155-165". I'm completely taken aback by this deer. Pictures do not do him justice.

Yes, was with the GMHC. We are REALLY starting to see the difference this year since we started a strict QDM 5 years ago. This was the second of 3 real NICE bucks taken so far this year. Here are a few more pics......

He was cruising. No does in sight when he came in. His neck was swollen like heck and his tarsals smelled typical of this time of year. They were rutting hard that whole week and a few days during the past week. It was like the switch flipped Thursday November 4th.....at least where I was hunting anyway.

im glad you are having a sucess with QDM. when i was with Morlen, buck and i always marvelled at how organized your club was compared to ours. i talked to buck right before Black powder season and he told me morlen only had 19 paying members this year. it sounds like there is some quality deer still left down there.
