Not much response. Has anybody been out in the woods in Florida yet to see if they are getting fired up? It has been unseasonably cold so far just wondering how it's affecting the birds

The rancher called me out on some yotes last weekend and I moved 4 or 5 times early in the morning howling, usually that elicits a shock gobble but didnt get any takers this weekend i think its still too cold.

Normally this time of year I get one to shock gobble to my deer dogs trailing LOL. It hasn't happened yet although I've seen a few.

Seems the gobblers are running together. I saw about 12 in a drove this morning south of DeFuniak Springs and last weekend we saw two droves of all gobblers together.

My friend's dad heard two different gobblers this morning. We're 50 miles south of Tallahassee.
