I only killed a couple of does,my son killed a decent 8 pt. but overall I did not see that many deer this past season compared with the last couple of seasons. I could have killed my limit but all the bucks I saw were young deer and that was only 4 bucks seen all season from the stand it was a weird year.

I'll agree with the weird year! With the crazy weather we had most of the activity we had was mostly nocturnal. I saw 1 nice mature buck chasing, but couldn't get a shot. Saw plenty of does, and i think that is our problem, too many! I had 6 or 7 different mature bucks on trail cam all at night. from what i've heard from other club members the doe population went down a good bit. Maybe that'll help for next year! Ready for Oct. 1st already! I haven't been home in 2 weeks, work, hope to be home next week and do some scouting & shed hunting. I'll post what I find.

Hey from Southeast LA. I have some friends from up there. They're the hungover ones in the stand.

I am from the Dirty South! South of I-10. I just joined a hunting club in Pineville. I got into it blind so I hope it works out. We have 8300+ acres. But we can only kill 1 doe and 3 bucks. 4 total.
