Default Virginia Hunters for the Hungry Raffle--I am helping

Well last year I ran into an issue when trying to donate a deer for the Virginia Hunters for the Hungry program. They literally ran out of funds to compensate meat processing businesses. So I decided to help and contacted their organization. I am helping sell raffle tickets and the odds actually look pretty good for anyone buying a ticket. There are two different raffles being held. I am providing two links for both raffles. The tickets are very affordable. I have about 50 tickets for each raffle and need to sell them in the next 20 days or so. If anyone is interested please let me know. Take a look at the cool prizes.

Brett

Did anybody else see where several tons of donated deer meat was hauled to the dump after they tested it and found minute traces of lead in it? People hungry all over the place and minute traces of lead causes it to be dumped.........

If anyone is interested, I will mail you the tickets then you can mail me a check. Take care, and at least purchase some from the places I linked above.

Mike, just saw your message. I can come by your work at lunch if that is easier. I work shift work so I have many days off during the regular work week. I am very busy in the late afternoons due to picking up my kids from school. Let me know, and I really appreciate your interest. I am off next Monday if that works for you. Like I said, I can swing by your work and bring some tickets and the prizes for you to look over. Take care.

I had not heard of this. Do you have any links or other info on it? When did they start to test for lead? And who is doing the testing?
