Smile Got Him

Went out Saturday morning and saw 9...2 small bucks runnin does and 7 does. No shooters, but definately a good morning. Then I came out of the woods, ate some lunch and was back in the stand by 1:30.

About 3:30 I had a young doe come in behind me grazing. She circled me eating for about 2 hours. About 10 minutes before it got dark, I heard something coming from the back of the farm on a full sprint. I looked up and saw a pretty decent rack. He got to the bottom of my ridge and grunted. He was HOT!! He was at the bottom bleating and grunting and creeping my direction toward the doe. I let him get within about 30 yards before I realized how big it actually was, and I shot. Perfect shot, quartering slightly away.

I'll have pictures up soon, but he was a nice 8 pt. 16.5 inch spread and 20 inch main beams. Good luck to the rest of Ky hunters.
