Default SC orange required?

SC hunting regs are a nightmare to read through. I have been reading them trying to see if you have to wear orange on private land.

Heading to a hunting lodge this weekend and was wondering if orange is required? Would like to wear it except when hunting hog with bow.

Yeah, the only thing I can find is you have to wear one article of orange if on WMA land.

Default Hunter Orange

It is required as far as I know. I hunt private land and I carry two caps. One is orange and one is camo. I wear the orange in and out of the woods and while walking. I wear my camo cap while up my stand.

No, orange IS NOT required on private land anywhere in South Carolina. It IS required on WMAs and Heritage Preserves.
