we have the 13 inch rule in this county and i dont think he is legal. this angle doesnt give much as to width. this is north east texas. what are your thoughts on his age?

He might be over 13, really hard to judge that from a side view. He is a young deer, notice that his legs still seem normal to slightly long looking and he has no sagging belly> those are two key signs in field judging a buck. He is a great looking deer for a youngster, given a year or two he would be a true brute.

I do not know what kind of pressure you get in your area so he might not make it that long if it is heavily hunted.

yea thats what i was thinking. and it is heavily pressured by hillbillies that dont abide by the laws at all. thanks.
