normaly pretty good in oct there aint been to many wanna be hunters out there scarying off all the deer

It is very pleasant...temps are normally moderate (have ice on hand or be prepared to cape out and quarter any deer you kill...to be on the safe side)...where I hunt the deer are eating acorns mostly...the bucks have normally broken up the bachelor groups, and are polished...rubs start appearing (with an occassional scrape) and the bucks begin to look, but not yet seriously...

Last couple of years was still greener (more foliage) than I expected. Bow type range in woods.
