Default No seeums, biting gnats.????

Here on the florida coast we have a tiny biting gnat that will drive you more crazy than the biggest flock of mosquitos. Does anyone know of a repellent that actually works on these buggers. I have tried OFF but they interpret it as ON.
Anybody from Florida (TREECLIMBER, HUNTINGMA) have a good repelent for these. Planning on taking the kids crabbing Saturday night and hope to get protection from these pesky critters.

Benhunting; as bullsi said. skin-so-soft from avon.it is a little slick,or oily type lotion.(but it works!) it also works to get fleas off a small puppy(like a day old) just pour a little in your hands and rub the pup all over and you will see then fall off.[X(][:-]

we call them sand gnats!!!

amway D15 insect spray works also.it is a little costly, but a can will last a looong time.it will make you feel hot if you get in the sun till it drys.[>:]

Find yourself a crepe myrtle bush, crush up some leaves and rub them on your skin.

Ben just saw your post.First thing to learn,no see-ums are NOT mosquitoes.Yes skin so soft will work.Things for mosquitoes don' t work.
