Anyone know the best way to get started in S.C. for some hogs. I live in N.C. and we don't have any (at least in my part near Pinehurst). Should I try some gamelands? If so which have hogs on them? Or would it be better to join a deer hunting club for my purpose? Any help will be appreciated.
Here in the Low Country of SC we have an abundance of hogs. I'm a member of a hunting club in Okatie and there are A LOT of hogs. There are a few WMA's down here that have special hog hunts but they only have them twice a year and each one is only 3 days long. There's usually so many people out there that getting a hog is rare. They also have dog hunts and those guys usually score some pork. I would look into a lease or joining a hunting club as close to the Savannah River as you can get. Again, lots of hogs...
