Default Hunting fatality

This weekend, near Hosford, Florida (south of Tallahassee) a 56 year old woman was killed while deer hunting with dogs. The news said she exited their vehicle while cutting off the dogs, another stander down the road saw a deer/thought he saw a deer, fired and struck her in the chest with buckshot.

My wife doesn't look anything like a deer. Lucky me.

Sad story and my prayers are with the family. Here in virginia there were a few accidents this year. One a guy was getting out of his tree stand and thegun somehow went off killing him, another a hunter was still hunting and thought his buddy that was on the hunt with him was a deer and shot him. His buddy came off his stand to early. Goes to show you MUST know what you are shooting at.

If you really feel sorry for everyone who ever did something stupid, there woul;d be little time for anything else. I do in fact feel sorry for the woman involved. The dude who shot is a dumb axx and only goes to show that not everyone is up to the task of handling a gun and hunting.

Stupid is as stupid does.................

Yea we had one not to far from us where some guys were hunting in stands and one got down and was apparently moving his stand or something according to the news. It said he wasn't wearing blaze orange and his buddy mistook him for a deer and shot him.
