Default Has the rut come and gone completely in AR?

It seems to me that the rut is over for the most part in central Arkansas. Normally is kicks off the last week of November and runs through December. The bucks were chasing early in my parts in mid-October and completely shut down in mid-November. Did any others have this problem? Do you think the second rut will be any better?

From my family that I have talked ot in Arkansas, that is exactly right. It seems that people were seeing deer in rut late October until mid November. Now that does not make hunting bad right now into December just to have to modify your hunting tactics. Might be going there mid December for a few days of hunting.

Yeah. Seems like it was done alot earlier this year. Deer were chasing when it was still burning up.

Heading to Arkansas this wekend for some black powder and bow hunting. Hopefully will be able to find a deer traveling their normal feeding routes. Wish the second rut was going on. But will make the best of it.
