Default Acorn crop in Va.

What does the acorn crop in your area of Virginia look like? I have seen very little in my areas of Craig and Mont. counties.

Where I hunt along the VA/NC border has been one of the heaviest acorn crops I can remember.

the other day I was hunting in Caroline and they were bouncing off my head and treestand. They make a lot of racket when they hit the metal of the stand.

For us in the Prince William/Manassas area, it is a tiny acorn drop. Last year was the largest I have ever seen, this year the smallest.

In Sussex Co. it was dangerous on a windy day. Acorns falling everywhere. I've never seen so many acorns
