Hunted a piece of ground in Culpepper VA. During the morning hunt, I bagged a decent 4 point, to get my first deer of the 2008 season. Decide to hunt the same area for the afternoon hunt. Set up (3pm) on the ground within a small finger of hardwoods in between 2 cut overs. I caught this broken 8 pointer strolling thru at 4pm. He was a load to get thru the briar by myself. I'm very pleased with how this day turned out.
