Worst rut temps I have seen in a long time in VA

Anyone else see these temps lately. And they are expected to climb off and on and hit 72 on Friday?! Geez man, I really hope we don't miss out on the daylight rutting activity because it is so darn hot. I am starting to really get worried.

hopefully next week the weather will change. I was hoping this rain would drop the temps, but it didn't really rain much like they said it was going to.

next week the highs are suppose to be in the 50's

Dont worry about it to much. I shoot a buck two years ago that was chasing a doe with 8 other bucks and the temp was 78 degrees in the stand. IF she is hot there on there feet. plus the temps are supposed to be dropping next week and the rut according to the moon should be on sometime between tuesday and friday.

Yep, I will forge ahead and keep at it for the next 10-14 days. I see the temps in the 50's next week and the nights should be upper 30's...not bad!

its supposed to cool down over the day into the afternoon but the week after this one is going to have big bucks running all over

It's just as bad here. High today is going to be 78, low tonight of 55. The deer will be active all night and nowhere to be seen tomorrow. I'm going to skip hunting this weekend and get some family time in the bank for when it cools off.
