Default my first buck

i was sitting out near my brother in laws honey hole. and about 20 before sunset a big 6 pointer came out into the soybean field about 150 yards from me. as i lined him up i noticed movement behind him, and there was an 8 pointer right behind him.

i was shaking so much, i took my time and got him right thru the lung, and heran about 20 yards and fell.

wow i now know why everyone is so excited about gettingthere hunting fix.

he was 153 pounds dressed
8 point rack
15 inch spread

i shot him at 150 yards with my CVA .50 Staghorn, with 240 grain TC XPT hollow point bullet.

i will add the photo'sas soon as i work out how to do it.

I am glad someone else feels Sunday is a bad day for me to hunt and this is why I can't hunt on Sundays.
