yeah, I wish the colder tempeture will make the bugs disappear. I hate those blood suckers in the woods.

Spent all day out on 5C changed spots after lunch. two does and they were to far out on the first spot and a big 0 on the last but a lot less squirrels man I hate them they were dropping walnuts like rain. their always making noise behind you and you sit there thinking o its just that dam squirrel but you cant help it .thought about doing some target pratice but those bolts cost to much.rain did stop around 9:30. still better then being at work.

Had a 4-6 pointer come by at 3 pm--about 50 yards off. Was neat to see.

Had 3 does come by this afternoon around 330, came within 10 yards, to many branches in the way to take a shot. I wasn't able to climb as high as I wanted to, because of a limb, and I didn't have a saw. So anyways, she either winded me or saw me, knew something was wrong and the 3 bolted. About 15 min later they came back, this time further away, still looking in my direction and then they just walked off. Then at about 6pm i heard something behind me, saw 2 bucks sparring eachother, and a third walking in the other direction. I grunted twice, and they both came walking towards me, I stood up getting ready to shoot, and sure enough, i go to draw and he looks straight at me and the two bolt! I thought to myself, one of two things just happened, I knew he didn't wind me becaus the wind was from the north and i was downwind. My first thought was that i wasn't high enough in the tree, i was maybe only 15 feet up......my second thought was that since deer may or may not see in UV? and I haven't washed my clothes in that UV wash detergent, that he saw something there, didn't quite know what it was.

any thought?

Hoytspeed, have you checked your cloth with a black light yet? I did and only found the cheap stuff from walmart to glow. that stuff was for the kids none of my stuff glowed like that I was really surprises when I saw it.
I don't know if a deer really sees it but it really does show up .
