Default Alabama hunting question

I have an opportunity to deer hunt in Alabama this fall and would like anyinfo that ya'll might have, ie. N/R tags, limits, etc. I'll be hunting around the Huntsville area. I was there last week and couldn't find a conservation book.

Thanks,

A yearly non-resident license last year I think was $250. You can take 3 bucks and two does a day. I heard a rumor that they were going to decrease the doe limit this year. Gun season on deer will run from Nov 15 to Jan 31. The rut will be starting in mid Jan in most of the state. They don't have tags, on the bucks you are suppose to fill out a sheet showing your harvest, but it isn't checked/sent is at the end of season. The next year seasons, etc havn't been printed yet. You should be able to go to the Alabama Game and Fish website and find out more.

Just a correction, gun season will open the 22nd of Nov, not the 15th. Wish it was the 15th, I've gotta be in a dad gum wedding on the 22nd! What guy in the state of Alabama would have their wedding on the opening day of gun season??? Check out www.outdooralabama.com for seasons and bag limits. Huntsville is Madison county so thats what you're lookin for.
