RE: what would you pay for a European / Russian boar hunt
A lot depends on your accomodations. Unless you are offering a high fence hunt (which you can charge a higher price for, yet will largely be looked down upon by most folks on the forum) its going to be hard to get people to pay big money for a one day hunt, as your success rates on trophy pigs can be low. A high fence situation is a different matter of course.
Personally, I used to get paid to kill them, so I suppose I'm a bad example. We used to live catch them and sell to operations like yours. They charged anywhere from $400-600 a day depending on accomodations, with a minimum three day hunt. I considered a two day weekend hunt in Texas for feral pigs to get the girlfriend started with a bow on game last fall for $250 all inclusive.
I don't know of anywhere in the US that charges $2000 for a one day pig hunt. Not saying it doesn't exist, but that seems mighty steep to me.
