I am a disabled hunter and was invited to hunt with Sunrise Hunt Club near South Hill. This was a Buckmaster American Deer Foundation hunt that was an opportunity for hunter's from NY to AL to come and hunt and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Va countryside. We were treated like royalty by the club members that donated their time and club funds to see that we all enjoyed ourselves. I won a muzzleloader that was donated by the Wheelin Sportsman/NWTF. Just wanted to recognize the gentlemen from Sunrise Hunt Club for a job well done. I also want to recognize the Va DGIF for providing the Liftmaster hunting blinds for the event.

Hey Bigtimer, I know the Marine Base I hunt on, Quantico has a disabled hunters only section on it....they have lifts I believe and there are alot of deer....just an idea. Great story, I am glad you had a great time,

That's great. Some nice bucks down there. We have a place in Brodnax, VA about 5 mi. from South Hill, VA. We have a great setup with food plots and some other stuff. Where exactly was this at?
